Civil Engineer
We are looking for a full-time entry-level engineer who has an interest in land development design, including: site layout, grading and drainage, stormwater management, utilities design, traffic impact studies and traffic design for a variety of projects in the office, retail, education, industrial and residential sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and draft conceptual and final site engineering drawings under the supervision of a Senior Engineer;
  • Prepare zoning and engineering calculations;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction;
  • Participate in project coordination with the surveying, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines;
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports, and
  • Conduct field visits as necessary.

Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer
We are looking for a full-time entry-level engineer who has an interest in the design of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems for a variety of design projects such as office, retail, education, industrial and multi-family residential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and draft building mechanical systems under the supervision of a Senior Engineer;
  • Prepare engineering calculations, including heat and cooling loads, ventilation and energy calculations;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction;
  • Participate in project coordination with the electrical, structural, civil and architectural disciplines;
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports;
  • Prepare energy conservation studies, energy modeling and energy audits for commercial and industrial clients;
  • Communicate with manufacturer's representatives and coordinate equipment selections, and
  • Field survey and/or site investigation of mechanical systems.


Electrical Engineer
We are looking for a full-time entry-level engineer who has an interest in the design of building electrical systems, including Lighting, Power and Fire Alarm Systems for a variety of design projects such as office, retail, education, industrial and multi-family residential.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and draft building electrical systems under the supervision of a Senior Engineer;
  • Prepare engineering calculations, including electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short circuit current calculations and energy calculations;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction;
  • Participate in project coordination with the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, civil and architectural disciplines;
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports;
  • Prepare energy conservation studies, energy modeling and energy audits for commercial and industrial clients;
  • Communicate with manufacturer's representatives and coordinate equipment selections, and
  • Field survey and/or site investigation of electrical systems.


Geotechnical Engineer/Inspector
We are looking for a full-time entry-level engineer who has an interest in the design of geotechnical design elements including foundations and retaining walls for a variety of design projects such as office, retail, education, industrial and multi-family residential. Candidate must be able to perform field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Field inspect geotechnical and foundation elements of projects;
  • Prepare daily inspection reports for fieldwork;
  • Design and draft geotechnical and foundation elements under the supervision of a Senior Engineer;
  • Prepare engineering calculations;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction;
  • Participate in project coordination with the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, structural, civil and architectural disciplines, and
  • Prepare engineering studies and reports.


Landscape Architect
We are looking for a full-time landscape architect who has an interest in the design of landscape elements for communities and residential/commercial site planning. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and draft conceptual and final landscape and lighting drawings under the supervision of a Senior Engineer;
  • Prepare lighting calculations;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction;
  • Participate in project coordination with the surveying, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines, and
  • Conduct field visits as necessary.


Survey Technician
We are looking for a full-time entry-level survey technician who is interested in the opportunity to work one on one with licensed land surveyors in a friendly team oriented environment.

The qualified technician would be responsible for drafting boundary and topographic surveys, preparation of construction layout data, minor boundary analysis along with writing reports and occasional fieldwork.


Minimum Qualifications
The minimum requirements for these positions are::

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geotechnical Engineering or Surveying Technology (for survey position) from an accredited university;
  • EIT Certification preferred or the ability to obtain the EIT within 18 months of employment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and judgement capabilities;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
  • Prior internship and/or coop experience with a design firm a plus, and
  • MS office suite and AutoCAD skills.

Candidates should be able to commence employment no later than June 2015.
